This is a closeup of the face of a camel, which most non-Arabs are finding funny, whereas in the Middle East, the camel is viewed as the very essence of beauty.

The narrow depth of field throws the rest of the background, including the rest of the camel's head and neck, out of focus, highlighting its mouth and nose. You have achieved such a tight focus that we can easily see each individual hair and the pattern and shape of its teeth. It makes me wonder what a camel's nose feels like, and if it is as soft as a horse's nose... although its teeth would not feel too pleasant!

For me, the most interesting feature of a camel's head are its long, God-given eyelashes that protect its eyes from the sand. This is the feature that I had hoped to see included in this same tight focus.

No one is knows camels better than the Arabic people, and you definitely knew what to look for when you took this intimate portrait. This angle you chose reveals not only its nose and mouth, but the shape of the camel's head, including the flat cheeks, the roundness of the skull between the ears, and the bulge of the eyes.
